The Ultimate Belgie - Just got an upgrade
The Belgie AIR was originally developed in 2017 by Curve's very own Steve Varga (Founder), in collaboration with Bastion Cycles. It was a celebration of Curve's then 5 year anniversary in the business, a homage to Melbourne's cycling culture and also a mighty fine 40th birthday present to himself! With the bike already pushing the boundaries of innovative bike technology, Steve decided that his very own Belgie AIR needed a cosmetic makeover whilst taking advantage of our new SRAM upgrade packages to keep the bike at the forefront of Curve's already stellar roster.
The end result is a svelte 6.90kg rolling showcase of top tier Curve goodness!
Hand Crafted Redesign
Steve is already a whiz on the design front and is clearly not too shabby on the tools, too! With a little paint wizardry from Velocraft on the fork and seat tube, Steve hand polished the mirror finish in contrast with the satin bead-blasted finish to highlight the versatile beauty of the raw titanium frame. The pop of fiery red on the inner fork legs, the glint of the frame's mirror finish and the signature carbon weave of the Bastion seat tube flawlessly combine into what can only be described as a truly stunning, one-of-a-kind bicycle. The colour combos and finishes work in harmony with the new SRAM Red AXS components to create a look that at first appears simple, but the longer you inspect it, the more thoughtful details you uncover.
