Custom Paintwork Gallery
We are ready and we're excited to formally introduce our in-house custom paint service, dubbed - Candy Factory Paintworks. Rooted in over a decade of established Curve brand aesthetics, we strike a balance of diverse yet manageable options. This approachable way of doing things means that most key design decisions are predefined and easy to navigate, allowing you to tailor the appearance of your bike(s) to match your personality via color palettes, layouts, and personal motifs. We can tie this all together whilst simultaneously maintaining our brand’s visual identity. For those who feel they don’t fit within our designated “design box,” we’re more than happy to collaborate helping you transform your unique ideas into reality, ensuring the level of attention and detail that defines Curve.
Whether you’re a new or existing Curve customer—or even if you ride a bike from a different brand—you can now enjoy this bespoke custom paint service. Like our Curve HQ workshop in Abbotsford Victoria, Australia, where we service and upgrade bikes of all kinds, Candy Factory Paintworks can apply our unique touch to most bike brands. For owners of second-hand bikes, this interaction with Curve offers you the perfect one-stop opportunity for your beloved bike to be stripped, deep-cleaned, painted, or re-painted, and then professionally rebuilt, giving you the new-bike-day experience all over again.
Designing your new paint job can be as easy as choosing your preferred layout, choosing your logo size and style, and then, of course, the colors that reflect your tastes. Additional company logos, names, taglines, or graphical icons can also be incorporated into your design. Every job is personal, so suggest as much personality as you wish and we will translate that into a visual render so you can visualise how your bike will look.
Pricing varies depending on the design, but as a general guide, expect fork-only jobs to start from around AUD$500+GST to frame and fork jobs up to and exceeding AUD$3000+. It all depends on the complexity of the artwork.
You may wonder how this project came to fruition. Steve brings a wealth of experience from his background in painting, which spans back to the early 1990s. From graffiti and street art to murals, he has explored various subcategories of public painting, often blurring the lines between art and public expression. After a long journey through diverse artistic endeavors, Steve has come full circle, integrating his passion for painting into his daily work life with bikes, enriching the Curve experience for every customer.
